TinyLog: Still launching in the shadows?
Do this for a successful launch, even without an audience.
You suck at marketing. Tweeting about your launch won’t cut it. Most launches flop because people don’t know what to do. And even when they figure it out, they don’t show up consistently. That’s why I’m building a guided system into TinyLaunch to take you from product submission to launch success, step by step. Want your upcoming launch to crush? Keep reading.
TinyLaunch Community
The TinyLaunch Discord Community grew to over 80 members in just over two weeks. We’d be happy to have you.

What’s new?
You can now get a Premium+ Launch (value $15), a weekly feature (value $20) and a professional review (ranking #1 on Google) for $95. Check it out!
No big updates otherwise. I’ve been working on the all-new Launch Support Tracker, more on that below :)
Last week’s winners
The following products got the most votes during the past launch week.
🥇 Eden Realm – Elite Lifestyles
🥈 NoCodeSaasClub – 11,000+ Profitable Micro SaaS Ideas
🥈 ASO.dev – App Store Connect Alternative Client
🥉 Alternative OSS – Directory of open source alternatives to popular tools
🥉 TempMailOnline – Get instant temporary email addresses
Personal favorite
FilterX – I spend a lot of time on 𝕏, but the “let’s connect” spam is getting out of hand. FilterX lets you filter out low quality posts based on keywords. Works for all major browsers.
How to make your launch a success, even without an audience
We’ve had a lot of launches on the platform to date. The average number of upvotes a launch receives is 2.79. 19% of launches end up with 0 upvotes, and 30% of launches only get a single upvote – mostly by the makers themselves.
Don’t want to be part of that sad statistic? There’s one simple strategy. Support other launches like crazy. Based on the principle of reciprocity, they’re likely to return the favor when it’s your turn.
In social psychology, reciprocity is a social norm of responding to an action executed by another person with a similar or equivalent action. This typically results in rewarding positive actions and punishing negative ones.
Of course, this doesn’t work on auto-pilot. Simply leaving an upvote won’t be enough. Here’s a simple 4-step framework that is proven to work well.
Upvote as many launches as you can.
Drop a comment on each one.
Hit them up personally – email or socials – with a congrats on their launch.
Once it’s your turn, reach out once more and ask for support.
Simple? Sure. Easy? No. People get what to do. They just suck at sticking with it and actually putting in the reps. Anybody can reach out to 10 people. Few can do it consistently, day after day.
That’s why I’m building the Launch Support Tracker right into TinyLaunch.

Just configure your goal (reaching out to 𝐗 people until launch date 𝐘), and the tracker will calculate your daily outreach goal. You can keep track of all your leads, and update their status with a single click. As long as you put in the work every day, you will reach your outreach goal. And when it’s time to launch, you have a long list of people ready to support you.
This isn’t magic. But it sure helps to have a system that keeps you on track and motivated. I have high hopes that the Launch Support Tracker will help Indie Hackers launch more successfully through consistent, small efforts.
The Launch Support Tracker is still in development, but I hope to release it to the public soon. Bonus: It’s not just for TinyLaunch – use it to prep for any launch platform you choose.
Tweet of the week
Acting quickly is a superpower. I can fail and learn 10x before other people have even tried once. The TinyLaunch MVP was built in 3 days. Luckily, it worked out. But if it didn’t, I could have tested out 9 more ideas before the month was through. This is also the topic of my latest YouTube video.
The #1 reason why I've been able to scale quickly:
Reducing the time between idea and execution.
Act immediately.
Don't fail your future self.
